Not surprisingly I am getting a lot of questions asking which dog walking bag is best.

The answer: they are all great!

Jasper Swag Bag Mini Dog Treat Bag

Jasper Swag Bag Mini

The Jasper Swag Bag Mini dog treat bag is bigger than most treat pouches on the market but smaller than a purse. It holds keys, wallet, phone, water, ball, poop and poop bags. It comes with two straps so you can wear it across your body or around your waist. It can also be clipped to a belt. Great for wearing during puppy and dog training.

Do you need a small bag that you can grab as you leave the house that will hold your keys, phone, waste bags and maybe a ball or a bottle of water? Something that is lightweight and can be worn by anyone in the family? You want a bag that works for going on a walk but can also be used in training sessions, agility, or dog therapy. A bag that is comfortable and convenient that takes up a small amount of space. Then the Jasper Swag Bag Mini Dog Treat Bag is perfect for you!

On the Go Jasper Swag Dog Walking Bag

On the Go Swag Bag

The On the Go Jasper Swag Dog Walking Bag has a flap that folds over the front creating a clean look. The flap covers the inside contents and ensures no one can reach inside your bag to help themselves. The On the Go Jasper Swag Bag is made from 600D Polyester and lined with lime green nylon. It is a soft bag and feels slightly larger than the On the Fly Jasper Swag Bag. The fabric is water resistant and stands up quite well to water exposure. This bag holds the most stuff of all of the dog walking bags.

The On the Fly Jasper Swag Dog Walking Bag has exposed pockets with zippers to keep the contents secure. It is easy to access the things you need. The On the Fly Jasper Swag Bag is made from waterproof nylon. It comes with two colour options: blue or grey. The nylon makes the bag structured so it holds its shape. The bag itself is not truly waterproof but it repels water and stands up very well to water exposure.

These are the big differences between the dog walking bags. Deciding between the them is tough as they are all great and do the job well. At the end of the day, it comes down to personal preference of size and fabric.

Do you need a small bag or do you prefer a little more space? Do you prefer polyester or nylon? Do you prefer a fold over flap or exposed pockets. Pocket sizes, over all quality and durability and features are very similar.

The On the Go Jasper Swag Bag feels slightly larger than the On the Fly Jasper Swag Bag but they are identical when measured. I would say the On the Go Jasper Swag Bag will hold a bit more stuff than the On the Fly Jasper Swag Bag.

Because all three bags are great, you can't really go wrong. Personally, I like having the Jasper Swag Bag Mini for when I head out from home for a quick walk. I can grab my phone, keys, a ball and some treats and I'm good. I can use it when I attend training sessions as well.

I like having either the On the Go or the On the Fly dog walking bags for when I go for a longer walk or for when I will have Jasper off leash and have to carry water. I can put the leash in the bag and water in one of the side pockets. I like hanging my extra clothing off the bag as well. It is just so convenient. I really love these dog walking bags.

Did you really mean to write the Jasper on the Fly swag bag carries poop and poop bags?!

I love being able to put everything I need into the swag bag phone, keys, small hard wallet case, plus anything I need for dog training. Mine is used Daily and I train multiple dogs daily.

The revised version – I’m not a big fan of the mangnet flaps. They are more in the way – they just flap when you place anything in that pouch. The very inside treat pocket has a tendency to rip, the material on that section is just too thin. The revised single belt loop in the back is much better than the dual elastic bands on the back.

I don’t use the water bottle pouches to carry water usually, just gets too heavy and I normally need to carry more water than a small bottle. I use a separate carrier for the water. I do still use the pouches on the ends – the front for my eye glasses, a pen, the back for a compass, granola bars, suckers and/or mace = my trail treats & needs!

Always keep those outside front pouches as they are! They are great as they are – sadly, might have to keep up with the phone sizes on the market, so they fit in that zippered section (just iPhone)! The top plastic clips are great for attaching things to – I clip my dogs GPS tracking radio to it, along with water bowl, safety multi-tool tick remover or anything else I need on that trip – small flashlight, mace, etc.. Please don’t change those out to a thinner plastic!

Do I love it? Yes. Not thrilled with the price, since there is wear rather quickly on the outside of the bag and that pesky tendency to tear on the inside zipper treat pouch section. But, I Love it and don’t carry a purse anymore – which is why I finally found this bag. It can easily hold all I need.
